2014-2015 Laptop Computers

Laptop computers have largely replaced many desktop computers in many homes. Laptop computers are simply a better way to compute.

When laptop computers first made the scene they were super expensive and to many people they simply did not make much sense.  People were just becoming acclimated to the desktop pc with the bulky keyboard and mouse. The idea of using a laptop computer was a bit foreign and was largely left to the folks that had to work out in the field and could not get to a desktop computer.

They were bulky and heavy and had a lot of internal glitches. Today laptop computers are beating out desktop computers in sales 2 to 1.

Wi-Fi and Other Factors

Wi-Fi computing has pushed the laptop out into the front of the field. You can visit any large city and catch a Wi-Fi signal on your laptop. Of course even a decade a go this was just on the drawing board, today it is a reality, you can take your laptop just about anywhere and work or surf or shop or do any of the other hundreds of things you depend on your computer for.

The fact that most laptops today weigh less than six pounds also has helped to fuel the laptop computer craze. You don’t have to have a huge bulky piece of luggage to carry your laptop around they not only weigh less but they are all around less bulky, they are easier by far to carry wherever you want to.  They are actually more durable today then they were ten years ago thanks to modern technology that has provided the means to scale them down and make them more durable.

We are simply as a society far more connected to the virtual world than we ever have been, most people that opt for laptop computers do so because they want to be able to be in any room or any location for that matter and use their computer.

Pricing has come way down, to the point where it is one fourth of the price it was ten years ago (and in some cases less than ¼) to purchase a brand new laptop computer.  They are cost effective and widely available, they can be purchased online or through traditional retail outlets, each year sees them coming down in price!

Processing also plays a huge factor in the craze. Ten years ago laptop computers were more of a complement to a desktop computer; today they can do everything that a desktop can in the same amount of time!

It looks like laptop computers are definitely here to stay, they come in so many different options, they are affordable and they are super convenient, it won’t be two long before the desktop is a thing of the past and is considered an ancient form of computing. As time passes and laptop computer become even more advanced there will simply be no reason to be tied to a desktop computer.

Before any purchase, you should research the best 2014-2015 Laptop Computers.
